This post has alot of I's in it

I've always loved the interplay of identities, to be everything I can possibly be, and experiment how people act in return... game still goes, game still shows. Alot you discover from such behavior, whether you do it on purpose or it just happens, for example: I have a thick Egyptian accent, it's debated among my friends "She never finishes a sentence with one language or one accent", this is not something I mean intentionally but I acknowledge it and I'm perfectly fine with it, I got me out of uncomfortable situations "I'm not Egyptian" is enough to put someone to silence, "I'm from Aleppo" was a gateway to tell me how a bus driver thought once about Syrian, "Are you sure you're Egyptian, like "Fully" Egyptian?" -Ummm, well that's debatable.

"Which colour do you (male pronoun) want?" -The grey one with the plaids, thank you sir. I never intended to be identified as a boy, I could've never fathomed he'll identify me as one, I can't do it any other way, I don't have a problem with it, and no, I would not feel the urge to correct him. I later figured how easy it is to navigate in the streets as a boy, than it is a woman. People would bump into you without freaking out or treating you like you're a fragile thing that you need to handle with care, you're like... Safe to be around. I was safe and unproblematic. I never really belonged to a somewhere, and belonged everywhere, I worked and found my call in Human Rights defense, not out of patriotism but out of humanity and trying to fix some of the prejudice I see anywhere in the world. I think If I can be a hulk, and take all the people who face bombings, hate crimes, child abuse, state abuse and negligence, take them to a safe place with a nice lullaby; get back to that stinky planet and just shake it off so hard all the bad people would just fall off into the abyss, I'd like to do so. I love the idea of God, but unlike many, I see my relationship with God a reason not to judge, modify, or critique anyone's relationship with their idea of God or Non-god in that sense... As long as that's what they feel happy, content and creating a more coexistent space, where our ideas are the derive to seek our similarities and look at difference in a delightful way. I hate the double standards people live with "Religion is for god, and nation is for all", "How could you do so?! You're not a Muslim if you did so, people like that burn in Hell (With a kiss from the appropriating society)" Things that needed to be highlighted: People who are capable of producing the utmost kindness, are also capable of being so violent... it's a matter of passion.

Young Muslims in the Modern world! -MUST C!

This Blog is one of those blogs I could call "Culturo-religious" Blogs, I think the best way to Describe it is how they describe themselves:
"This blog is the documentation of some thoughts and reflections of a small group of youth holding strong to their Muslim identities (including all Eastern, Western, Northern, Southern, contemporary, traditional and all other facets of those identities). It is a chance to express thoughts, ask questions, search, and discuss."

It is NOT an Islamic teachings blog, but it Shows How those two Muslim Youth, see the modern culture and the Islamic teachings in the Modern world.
And let me say, I happened to have the Honor of knowing the Bloggers of that Blog, and every time I meet one of them I feel how much The blessings of Allah in Giving someone knowledge and adding it with Faith could be, Mashallah.

In a brief info F. & Dee as they usually sign in their posts:) are two Egyptian gals, who were raised on Islamic teachings, and Lived parts of their lives Abroad, making them more approachable of how the Muslims in General and Muslim Youth in Particular really Are in the western world.
They still travel alot, which is something- to tell you the truth guys- is just something I'd love to do as frequently as they do! and that Keeps them standing into A more GLOBAL Birds Eye view of the World:)
They've both got reading as a Hobby, and Reading in Contemporary Islam is something they usually do, which makes them a reference for me. And their reading also makes them Amazing writers especially Dee. (She should write a book someday!)

As forF. is an artist, a really good one for that matter, and her last Post was what made do that One! It Simply Discussed how some Muslim artists handle Muslim related issues in their art works, evidencing that debate with Two Artists, their artworks and what they said about their Philosophy, and how they believe Provocation could be a method in art!
I Definitely Advise you to see that Post: "We only have ourselves to blame"
And the BLOG.

From My site, beside my recommendation I can only pray to Allah, He saves and blesses those two girls and Increase their Knowledge, Humbleness, and Faith.

This is who WE truely are!- A Must C of a new kind!

Ibn Sina(known in west as: Avicenna)- Muslim Scientist and Physician

From the Advantages and Disadvantages- at the same time- of Internet culture, is that it made religious and cultural information accessable for everyone, and indeed, with the presence of "Everyone" at easy access to write and publish any info about anything, You can never guarantee that that info is True, and one of the major reasons for Cultural and Religious conflicts is that anyone can post anything that's not true and say and convince a no. of people that they are absolutely true and a trustworthy reference, and allow me to say that Even if what they say can have a portion of truth, that doesn't mean they Entirely are, or that they are saying a certain info just for the reason of assessing the truth and nothing but the truth...

I have always been interested in the Camparative Religious Studies, I totally Love reading about other religions and beliefs to help myself have a somehow clear concept of life and understanding how people from other religions and beliefs think, perhaps the reason was that my mother always use to tell me- as a young girl-about the Christianity from her upbringing in an orthodox christian school( the feasts, the rituals, the prayers, nearly everything i knew in a very young age), So, I used the internet sometimes to know about more in christianity, judaism, even Islam and other beliefs, But I have always known that not everything could be true, even in religions i don't follow, Simply because it's not rational that a religion in itself promotes for violence for example or injustice, right?!
And surely i have found untrue information through my surfings, but a trip back to the Basics, and Logic always lightened my way again. And my readings always enhanced my love( or u can say Adornment) and pride for my religion...Islam, a religion or u can say "civilization" that like everyother civilizations passed through their good times and right now, the not really pretty times, we have to face the intimidation of the response of others especially abroad- we might sometimes not say it, but we feel it- and that doesn't mean we- by anymean- doubt our religion( god forbid, Never!) but it's about the prevailence of certain ideologies of political favours...
So, from the Good sources that i recently found that speaks about Islamic ( Sciences, Civilization, and Modern and Ancient History) is:
http://www.islamstory.com/

It has an English Section of course, and it contains Audio and Visual Lectures about- i think- everything about Islam, you can also ask anything you want to Dr. Ragheb Al-Sirgany who is one of the Scholars in the site and the Supervisor of the site.

Our Agenda to change Our condition pt.1

The following article was a long one, so i decided to divide it to parts so it'd be easily readable; PLEASE DO NOT COPY, PUBLISH, OR USE THIS ARTICLE FOR COMMERCIAL PURPOSE WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!
__________________________
The Prophet Muhammad said, “Any word of wisdom is the stray of the believer, who has the better right to it wherever it may be found.”
Instinct or conscious and Logic -in my opinion- is the base behind every action or concept the human person takes... And the reason why those two should be together is definitely because, some stuff could work as Logic but they cannot work ethically where our conscious is the judge in it. The fact... or let's say the phenomena that we (everywhere) are tending to normalize some of the stuff that are sometimes un-ethical and accept it as a normal change in the world under the name of "civilization" is just in my POV is illogical! And sooner or later that attitude proves itself incompatible.
From one of these things the trend of accepting all the technological changes to the community without filtering it, or deciding whether or not they are consciously acceptable to our societies or to our world in general or not. Ignorant in my own opinion are the ones who’re shallow enough to push themselves through such a technology or a concept and telling everyone its Modernization... I would ask that person, that institute or that country a question... Are you really being true to yourself?! Are you really buying that?! I believe it's all a matter between each person, his mind and his conscious, don't you think?
This Ramadan from the 60 to 66 shows I was told were being broadcasted- coz I'm not really the gal who keeps the timings of shows in her mind, even the favs- there was a show called "Khawater Shab" means "The Memoires of a Young man" by Ahmed Al-Shukairy, this year was the 5th edition, and he broadcasted it from Japan. I have to say that this guy did an amazing job, really, because even though I didn't follow it on the TV, I only saw random episodes on the internet, I really benefited, and it inspired me enough to write down this article. Another thing inspired me as well, It's "Agenda to change our condition" a book by the two scholars Sheikh Hamza Yusuf and Imam Zaid Shakir, which what I partially took its title for the article.
End of pt. 1
