Suheir Hammad has been a passion to my eyes and ears ever since i first heard her in 2010 on Youtube
Her poetry was -for me- the foundation of loving this immigrant poetry specially that of Palestinians.
I used a part of her poem (Taxi) before in my Youth salon 2011 Anti-war Installation "Little Boy"
